So I learned a lot. I don't quite remember how I picked Billie Jean now but I do remember wanting to sync the keyframes appearing to the beat of the music. It encourages you to try and do better work, commit more time, iterate and polish small details. I'd definitely noticed I was feeling more confident working within After Effects by this stage and I didn't feel the need to look up any sort of tutorial on YouTube. I suspect that it's primarily designed this way to lessen the admin overhead on SoM staff from all the newly enrolled students.
